COLOUR FILTERS

Color phototherapy utilizes specific wavelengths and frequencies of light to target and improve the body's regulatory centers, aiming to restore balance. Traditionally applied to address various eye issues such as lazy eyes, eye turn, and problems with eye focusing for over 80 years, it has expanded its application.

Beyond ocular conditions, color phototherapy is now used in the treatment of a broader spectrum of disorders, including learning disorders, mitigation of the effects of brain injuries, chronic headaches, concussions, as well as stress and trauma-related occurrences. Its therapeutic potential lies in influencing and harmonizing the body's regulatory functions, offering a versatile and holistic approach to address a range of health challenges.

HOW COLOUR FILTERS WORK

BALANCE

Colored lights used in phototherapy serve to stimulate the visual system and concurrently alter the brain's biochemistry. The outcome is an enhanced balance between the two nervous systems: the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

MOTOR

By regulating the autonomic nervous system, we can achieve a general relaxation, with a particular focus on the motor system. This involves using frequencies that induce relaxation to alleviate tensions or employing stimulating frequencies to activate muscle tone.

BEHAVIOURAL

Achieving equilibrium in the autonomic system through specific color frequencies results in a recalibration of our adrenergic system. This, in turn, can induce behavioral relaxation, alleviate stress, or activate the emotional system.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF COLOUR THERAPY?

  • Visual acuity and contrast that have improved

  • An improvement in visual attention

  • Improved energy levels

  • Sleep and digestion improvement

  • Improved relaxation

  • A decrease in eye strain

  • A decrease in sensitivity to light and allergies
